Welcome to LS Equestrian, where a deep passion for horses is seamlessly blended with craftsmanship, vibrant colour, and meaningful connections. My name is Fern. Originally from Yorkshire and now based in Auckland, New Zealand, I am the hands and heart behind every product at LS Equestrian.

A Creative Journey

From a young age, creativity was at the core of who I am. While others were engrossed in textbooks, I found joy in designing, making, and working with my hands. This creative drive, combined with a lifelong love of horses, has shaped the path that led me here.

A Legacy with Meaning

The loss of my grandad in 2020 brought a new depth to my journey. He was one of my greatest supporters, and with a modest inheritance, I was inspired to build something real and enduring - something he would be proud of. This became the foundation for LS Equestrian.

Filling a Gap in the Market

After moving to New Zealand in 2013, I noticed a lack of customisable, high-quality horse tack, especially for ponies, drafts, and riders seeking more than just standard brown gear. As an endurance and distance rider, I understood the importance of having tack that withstands long rides and unpredictable weather while allowing riders to express their unique style.

From Little Scribbles to Limitless Stride™

What began with a single bridle for my son’s first pony, Little Scribbles, a spirited Pintaloosa with no patience for stiff leather or dull designs soon grew. One bridle led to more, then to regular requests, and eventually to a full tack range trusted by riders across New Zealand, the UK, the UAE, and beyond. Over time, Little Scribbles became simply LS. Today, the name has evolved once more, not to forget our beginnings, but to honour our journey. LS now stands for Limitless Stride™.

Each piece is handmade by me using genuine Beta® BioThane, marine-grade stainless steel hardware, and bonded UV-resistant thread. I personally handle every step, from cutting and stitching to packing and posting, ensuring that quality and care remain at the heart of every order.

Staying True to Our Roots

What has always been, and will always remain, central to LS is the heart and personal touch behind every piece. I continue to work closely with riders worldwide to design bespoke tack that reflects their individual goals, horses, and personalities. I am genuinely excited by the photos, feedback, and stories shared by our community, and I remain passionate about what I do.

Many still know us as Little Scribbles, and that legacy is an important part of who we are. The values from those early days continue to guide every decision and creation. Limitless Stride™ by LS Equestrian represents our next step forward, a stride that honours our past and embraces our future, together.
