A lightweight, custom BioThane® hackamore bridle, handmade in New Zealand and designed for riders who use compatible hackamore hardware. The LS Arco gives you the headstall and cheek setup for a hackamore without adding the extra straps used on a sidepull or crossunder bridle.

Best suited to: riders looking for a simple hackamore bridle for endurance and distance riding, trail riding, training or everyday bitless riding.

Choose your colours in this order:

  1. Main Colour – the dominant BioThane® colour across the bridle.
  2. Secondary Colour – your contrasting colour on selected straps or sections.
  3. Highlight Colour – used for smaller accent details where available.
  4. Choose your size and any extra options – complete these after your colour choices.

How is a hackamore bridle different from a sidepull?

A hackamore bridle is designed to hold compatible hackamore hardware. Its action and the pressure applied depend on the hardware fitted. A sidepull works differently, using direct rein pressure from rings positioned at the sides of the noseband. Custom BioThane® hackamore bridle

Choose your colour combination and size to create a hackamore bridle to suit your horse and tack. BioThane® is particularly practical for endurance, distance and trail riders because it is waterproof and easy to rinse clean after riding.
